Wadano Forest Hotel is located in Happo One, the largest and most popular ski resort in Hakuba. The Happo One ski field hosted the downhill, super giant slalom and combined slalom events at the 1998 Winter Olympics.

Wadano Forest Hotel is close to the Sakka ski slope at the northern end of Happo One. Intermediate skiers and snowboarders can access the ski slope by crossing the road and skiing down to the Sakka Quad Lift. It is also possible to ski back to the hotel by exiting the northern end of the Sakka ski field and skiing through the trees. Just ask reception for details on how to ski into and ski out of Wadano Forest Hotel.
Alternatively you can ask reception for a lift to the ski field or walk down the road (approximately 400m).
Wadano Forest Hotel is also only 100m from the Hakuba resort shuttle bus.
